John W. Kirk, Psy.D., ABPP-CN is a professional clinic that was founded to provide comprehensive assessment, consultation, and intervention services for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental and/or acquired injury needs. Every evaluation is tailored to meet the individual needs of the child, and identify his/her weaknesses in order to more appropriately prescribe effective educational and therapeutic interventions.

Dr. Kirk is an experienced, licensed psychologist with additional training in developmental psychology, brain development, and medical complications which affect brain functioning. He conducts the evaluations in a way that provides the special attention that your child needs during the assessment process. Often children are misdiagnosed or inappropriately treated; therefore, it is important to have a comprehensive evaluation which is conducted by a board certified clinical neuropsychologist.

The goal of the neuropsychological evaluation is to develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your child’s strengths and weaknesses. Such treatment plans may include educational accommodations/modifications, specific therapeutic services (i.e., counseling, speech/language therapy, occupational therapy), and/or medications.
